This shoot was fun! Once they get the final photos, I will put those up. Here are the before and after pictures for now!

Wendy's Wedding

Sweet girl, Wendy was. She wanted a natural look as well but I accentuated her eyes a bit more for pictures and she loved it! I used Benefit That Gal face primer then Urban Decay Surreal Skin foundation and powder in Supernatural . Cargo bronzer in Medium under cheekbones and t-zone areas and Sonia Kashuk Rose blush on the apple of her cheeks. I dusted a bit of MAC iridescent loose powder in Golden Bronze all over the face, mostly on her cheekbones, and Benefit Moon Beam as well for a dewy look. On her eyes, I used Urban Decay eye shadows in Sin (all over), Shag (outer section), and Smog (crease) and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil in Bourbon (top lash line and outer bottom lash line) and Baked in the inner rim. Filled in her eyebrows with Urban Decay eyebrow kit in Brown Sugar and used Lancom High Definition mascara in Black. Last but not least, Revlon ColorStay lipstick in Sheer Rosette that lasts up to 12 hours. For my wedding clients, I buy the lipstick and it's theirs as a gift! There should be no need for retouching but just in case...so there you have it - voila!

My Bestfriend's Wedding

My best friend got married in 2004 and I was her makeup artist. I am also her younger sister :) She wanted a more natural look and makeup that will stay on during the month of June in the humid heat of Austin, TX. I made sure to stay light on the foundation (oil-free) and use more powder for a matte finish. With bronzer, a peachy/rose blush, neutral-colored eye shadow with a bit of shimmer, black liquid eyeliner, individual false eyelashes, and a mauve-colored lipstick, this is what you get. :) Isn't she beautiful??

Makeup Tip #2

Primers. There is a face primer and an eyeshadow primer that I swear by. The purposes of primers are to have your makeup last longer and become more vibrant. Believe me, it works. :)

Benefit That Gal face primer brightens up your face, if you desire to wear it alone, or applying it before makeup allows for a smoother application. One trick you can do is mix the primer with your moisturizer and apply it with your foundation brush.

Makeup Tip #1
